download is so slow

Hey everybody. Naught the game yesterday and started the download.

    But it is really slow. Got a 60 mbit connection which I can use up to 100% almost all the time. Only here I download with max 500 kB/sec. Checked the settings which are set to unlimited.

    Is that a common problem?

    I don't know what the problem is, but I downloaded my game from Steam about 5 weeks ago.

    I have Verizon DSL 760 (modem), but my download speed was right around 342 kbs/second even though I told it to go higher. Took me 2 1/2 days to download the entire game. Never again. I'm switching to FIOS soon.

    Anyway, I can symphatize with you.

    Working as intended sadly. Download of game and patches has been slow as hell from day one regardless of your connection. Speed test shows a 87.64 Mbps download speed and I have the exact same problem with every patch.

    It took me 2 1/2 days to download the full game plus patches from Steam. I thought it was just slow because I was also downloading The Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy XIV. Final Fantasy was the first to finish, then ESOs patches a half day later and then Witcher 3.

    She won't leave me because I'm too ugly to kiss goodbye...

    Sorry to be an intruder but... i was looking for the size of the patches. I've installed a first print retail disc of ESO and since then it's downloading patches. Any rough amount? I've downloaded more than 25GB and it's still at 10% of the update. If you know some numbers, please share :)

    The percentage is wrong, the amount you've downloaded is wrong. There is nothing to say, but just that in moist cases it seems to seem daunted at first and suddenly it looks like a jetplane breaking the sound barrier. Sorry for not more precise measures, but it is as it is. Keep it running and it will get there!
