Werewolf v Vampire

dreadnoughtus695
This is a question for mainly PvP,

Which one is better? I already am a werewolf and 1v1 it is great now I have most of the morphs unlocked. 1vx it does seem to suffer when I use it!

I am looking at my other character becoming vampire but the weakness to fire damage worries me as everyone seems to run fire damage in PvP! Plus the seige weapons doing fire damage I could see vamps dying pretty quickly. This is ignorant way of looking at the vampire as I don't have one but I don't feel like wasting hours at the spawn points of blood fiends without people giving vamps the PvP thumbs up!!!

Personally I prefer Werewolves if anything and there are ways to cover the weaknesses both have. Vampires only have 2 actives and an ultimate though so not alot to work with there. Also you get a bounty every time you feed to keep the Vampirism Stage down because it does no damage to the NPC and it is considered assault plus they attack you so odds are you end up committing murder for even more bounty. I do not know if feeding on enemies is possible but when I tried it didn't quite work, but then again I was never able to get very close before other players ran in and slaughtered them.

So I may already have the better one of the two changlings,

so that at least saves my time waiting for blood fiends!!!!

Werewolf is too buggy in PvP and the transformation makes you a target for everyone with silver bolts and the WW Fighters Guild passive.

Given a choice between the two I'll take the 15% Stam regen and just rarely use the Ult as there is no negative to being a WW without transforming. I only slot the WW ult for biting guildies and when I'm leveling it or screwing around.

You do know that you don't have to be either a Vamp or a WW, right?

I'm a vamp and I pvp all the time.
If you run a magika character, I'd recommend it.
I don't find the fire damage being much of a problem as I generally stand back (templar healer) and I can dodge pretty well when i need to.

1v1, I've rarely been beaten so far.
1vX, I can hold my own pretty well but it's a slow process as I need to be healing myself constantly which makes killing others take forever.

Devouring swarm heals me each time it hits someone and mist form makes me take 75% less damage. Pop these 2 at the same time and you're pretty much un-killable for a few seconds and your health bar fills up. Swarm recharges really quickly so you can use this loads when fighting more than one person.

Ephany- thanks pal. This does mean that it is not for me! I am more tank/ front line swinging sword at everything that moves.

Hmm maybe don't feed on npc in town. Enemy npc are the ones to feed on. Honestly why feed at all? I keep it alcoholic for health regen and spam my abilities.
