ps4 na unplayable quest

so I'm trying to defend the silvenar in malabal tor but there are 40+ players in the same location spamming the location and not allowing the quest to begin. Many of them are doing it deliberately. Can't zenimax limit the amount of time a player is allowed to stay in these zones? Anyway I uploaded a clip to YouTube with the offenders, i'll post the link here when its up. the least someone could do is block these accounts.

I've been waiting an hour and still can't get it done. No point shaming people now I realise there is a river of people coming and going from here and most of them making the quest impossible without knowing they are doing it. I'm putting this one down to the developer as their mistake for making this unplayable.

I had to log on at 4 am when not so many people were playing to finish this one. Even still I got on voice and just tried to explain it to the few people that were there and a managed to finish it. Definety on the developer. The quest is ambiguous with its instructions and the quest indicators and an easy fix would be to move the npc upstairs an have the mobs come from the basement instead.... I hear there is a fix coming for this (eventually) and I believe it is in the known issues.

A guildie of mine said he finally got the NPC to go downstairs but the quest would not proceed anyway so griefers aside this quest is just plain broken. It has been reported by many, many people (2 of my guild mates at least included) so I am sure they know about it.

Is that a PvP area? Why not just kill everybody and then move-on? I know some guys who'd be happy to help.

Ye i made a thread earlier im on EU btw, and i was told you gotta let him go downstairs, but people who just got there or trolls kill her before she goes down...
Advice people are telling me ingame is come on at like 4-5am, yet i gotta sleep for work so yeah...

I fixed this by logging on and off multiple times (less than four) which caused me to spawn in a working instance.

I'm surprised that people are having problems still, I logged on just after maintenance and it didn't matter that people were killing her before she made it downstairs. I was downstairs, all npc's spawned and the quest was completed.

I will say though that after all the times I went into that instance trying to get it done, the green ring item reward was disappointing

After checking the other threads, I realise that there was no fix to this. It wont be fixed until the next patch (probably 15Gb again).

She doesn't go down stairs unless she is aggroed down there and it's not necessary and pulling her down is one way the quest gets bugged. Watch the last 3 min of the YouTube video " the prisoner of jathsogar" so you know how the quest works , then do one of the two ways to get in a ~ clean instance
