Vamp / ww bite solution!!!

It is no surprise to see that everywhere you look people are getting scammed out of currency and items just to receive a bite. I myself was taken for 10k silver. It was only after a generous biter sought pity on me did I get vampirism. Afterwords I thought of a very simple solution to prevent any more players from getting scammed.

Make the bite an item that can only be viewed and performed in the trade window. Much like gear or food you have to select out of a long list the things you want to trade. Make the bite a service that shows up in the 'To be traded' column and when both parties agree and submit the bite is performed instantly. Sure you can still have the animation but the disease would already be transferred so if a person tries interrupting the action they won't get away with it.

ESO I implore you to make this fix, I will provide bites once a week without currency exchanged but there are literally thousands of players doing the scam and thousands more getting scammed, enough is enough.

Things were much the same on PC at launch.

As others have replied to other threads like this...it will sort itself out in time. But you do have the right idea though of giving your future bites out for free. There's always a few ball apples in the barrel, so doing what you can to set a better example is always a good thing.

People forget sometimes that we are all JUST playing a game...and games are supposed to be fun. In fact I just got my first vampire bite today and I've been here almost since launch. Know what it cost me?

I had 2 do the /lute emote to make the other player laugh.

Like I said, it's a game and we are supposed to have fun.

I was infected with vampirism by checking for the blood fiend spawns each time it was night in-game. It took a couple of months I think before I finally caught the spawn up and before other players had purposely killed them all but still, it is possible to get it with patience and without getting ripped off.

You always take a risk when dealing with randoms in games just like in life. That being said, I don't think a change is needed. You can either have a friend bite you, find a nice stranger (that doesn't want money), earn it legit, or risk getting shaken down by some jerk.

You know what's an awesome, no-programming solution?

Getting rid of the name and shame policy.

All it's doing it protecting the guilty and making sure the *** heads in the game can't be held accountable by the community for their actions in the game.

I know, ZOS doesn't want to lose any potential paying customers. But you know what? Taking money from a *** head kind of makes you a *** head, too.
