can we have the option to turn this visual off so we can see our own armor, that we spent time, money and resources crafting?

Would love this as well, it has a really plain and cheap look, my own armor looks much better.

Only if I don't have to get all scaly and spiny as a DK, or have that annoying mote of light turn on when I use Mage Light.

you can turn off mage light and use another skill that grants the major buffs the scale armor does for dks
