Argonians...

So with the last ESO live Eric states Argonians are getting a bump in the bonus to the passive when they drink a potion and that it is a cool passive ability.

Now I am not one to complain very often but NO the whole extra bump in the initial H/M/S recovery actually sucks as it dependent on using a potion which can only occur every 45 secs. They also get no addition bonus (currently) to the percentage it only applies (as far as I could tell) to the initial immediate recovery. Before 1.6 this bonus was every 25(normal) or 15 (with jewelry cooldown bonus) secs for the initial bump and each tick gave more. Now everyone's bonus to the ticks is straight up 20% (EVERYONES) nothing special here for the Argonians. So how is a bonus to H/M/S potions every 45 sec even good? I mean how is that good compared to straight up bonus to the stats or compared to regen stat bonus?

Momma always said "If your going to complain you better have a solution"

My personal opinion please say you're adding a bonus to the H/S/M recovery during the 45 sec window while a potion is active for Argonians. That would be a little more cool but really just simply give Argonians a straight up bonus to health, stam and magicka - 2 3 4% scale via points for a total of 12% stats or even a 1-2-3% for a total of 9% to stats, which is nothing compared to other races or is on par with some of the lower end races. This would make them semi more attractive and I don't think anyone would feel it is out of control or unfair (well there is always a couple). I look forward to seeing the final patch notes on this because what Eric stated leaves nothing to be desired (in my personal opinion) for the Argonian passives.

I agree, they could do more to make the argonian passives viable, as they are still going to be underpowered even with the planned changes.

if they want to give argonians something unique like they said in eso live that it was a cool unique thing, how about giving them some sort of unique buff when they drink a potion? doesn't make sense this is such a "unique" ability and just grants crap

It would be an awesome thing if drinking a potion would double the regen rates of Magicka, Health and Stamina for a short period of time.
Currently the bonus you get (6%) won't even come close to a normal regen tick. If they bump it up a bit then you might get 2 or 3 regen ticks, which still seems pretty weak to me.

The old Argonian passive made you able to give potions an actual boost (especially if you were a NB).
A 1K+ Potion (Should be equal to around a 15-20K pot these days) was already possible for non Nightblades. If you compare that with 1 regen tick then it's just a joke.

Another thing i have been thinking about (which seems pretty cool in my book) is changing the Health bonus on Argonian Resistance (3% at max) to something like 99-150% Health regeneration (Think about Hist Skin in Skyrim).
33-50% for each rank in the skill. Overall Health regen is discarded as useless, but i think that when you reach decent numbers you could do some fun things with it.
The current health bonus is useless regardless of what you might think.

I hate the developers. It was a cool unique ability until they nerfed it and eliminated the NB catalyst synergy.

The only reason they're keeping it is because they're too lazy and preoccupied by creating Crown Store items to give Argonians something more useful. The Argonian passives are all crap, but we're stuck with them. They're never going to change them.

    Give up hope.

Sorry NO I will NOT give in that easy! I still think this is one of the better games out, just waiting for Crowfall.

If there was a lot of water in this game, i would agree with you.

ZOS just wants everyone in EP to roll Dunmer, think about it:

DC - breton is good for magicka, redguard for stam, and orcs make good tanks with their 6% health and stam!

AD - altmer rocks at magicka, and khajiit and bosmer still make decent stamina builds!

EP - roll dunmer or suck!

    That's all its about, #DunmerMasterRace

Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets - Argonian mNB Tank/Heals (PVP)
Strawberry Semifreddo - Dunmer mSorc DPS // Sunny D-Light - Breton mTemp Heals
Peanut Butter Sandwich - Orc sDK DPS // Kellogg's Frosted Flakes - Argonian mWard Tank/Heals (PVE)

Weren't Argonians being able to breathe underwater? I thought that was a good thing, especially for finding treasures and stuff.

Argonians would have quite a significant advantage and it would be a worth passive, if there was the ability to go underwater in the game; and underwater combat. Sadly, there is not.
