Do I really have to pay 15K?

Hi All - Seeking some advice please

I joined the Thornblade campaign when the game launched & I waited for the 30 days to end as I wanted to join a 7 day campaign instead. I went to join Haderus yesterday but it said I had to pay 15K Alliance points to make it my home campaign.
Is this right? I understand that you can't switch while it is active.... I just want to check before I fork our my well earnt Alliance points!

When you change a campaign you're given the option to set now which costs 15k or set when current campaign ends which is free.

Thanks for your reply - I am playing on Xbox One & I can't see this option anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction?

You should be thankful it's only 15k right now. Last I heard, the cost was going to skyrocket with the next patch. You should be able to click on another campaign, hit the button that says Home, and get the option to use AP to change home campaigns.

Yo @UglyTriangle - Seriously? Wow .... I don't remember there being a lot of detail about this when I joined Thornblade. I think it is a bit harsh as you want variety huh? I agree it should be locked until the campaign ends but wowzers 15K AP to move ....

15k is nothing, thats 15mins work, next patch it's rising too 150k

You also can travel to players in your group or guild to enter a campaign without having to set it as Home/Guest.

This will be changed in the next major update though.

Cheers Gents for your input on this - I totally get that campaign hopping is bad but on the other hand there has to be some flexibility. It is what it is though!

What are people suggestions on a decent Home Campaign then? Azura's Star always seems to have an equal amount of each Alliance
