Also wiped a few tears lol.
I will say that AC was the first/best/ and last true PvP MMO... DAOC tried to compete, but anyone that was around in the golden days of Asherons Call PvP will have played the only MMO that REQUIRED player skill to really survive.

Mighty_oakk✭✭✭✭✭Is still my fav mmo of all time. I did open beta and played darktide on release for a couple years.
Was in CoA anti pk clan,Xanthro tag based out of Sawato.
With it being ffa and you dropped your stuff on death made for such an amazing community.

Leafcull!! I was in the guild lead by Ghede and Axen.. can't remember the name.. loved those guys. One of the only MMO's I remember where Unarmed was the best PvP class, haha.. at least when I played.0 -

I was in Ghede with katana er whatever her name was? Remember she was his officer I think..
Remember seeing Joji's name like every 5 hours in global message saying ["Joji has slain the queen" ]
Yes ghede and gekonade were rivals, hehe we would have entire weekends where the server was gek vrs ghede/rest of the server.
And God help any poor soul trying to come to sanctuary to pray the Red off of them lol.
Back then the players were the Justice system HAha! If you had a bad name and were an A-hole we the players delt out justice and took your gear from you
Man o man.. Good times lol..
