[PSA] "Crafters hate him! Revolutionary way to level crafting they didn't want you to know about!"

Hey guys, this may be common knowledge to some people, but based off I've talked to in-game, I think this will help a lot of newbie crafters.

A higher level gave me this piece of advice a couple weeks ago, and now i'm nearly 45 BS/Clothing just from thieving in my spare time once or twice a day.

If you don't do the Velyn Harbor quests (Malabal Tor), the town stays hostile, in turn making it easy as pie to steal just about a full inventory of gear/weapons and in turn deconstruct them 5 feet away, then rinse and repeat if you wish!

The NPCs are lvl 32 but not hard to kill at lvl ~20 even, plus there's almost always other people killing them already.

If you have done or do the quest line, I don't think this is a viable option since you'll get caught wide out in the open I presume.

This is also a decent money maker to a certain point as you get 200x stacks of materials pretty quickly.

Obviously some of y'all are aware of this, but hopefully it will help some people :)

EDIT: You can also head over as a level 3. Just suicide to the enemies, and walk as ghost form and complete the initial rescue of hostages.. Then there will be zero hostile enemies, and all the armor you can steal

Pretty sure it's a bug as I assume you're not supposed to get that much crafting xp for deconstructing stolen items....(?)

Pretty sure this is known to alot as it's been put into "power-leveling" guides. Kinda wish things like this were trade secrets and not blasted over the Internet lol puts alot of crafters on consoles a cut in their small sales to other players. Once it really becomes public knowledge then it soon becomes patched or reworked so you can't take advantage of the load system by relogging to make everything reappear as these methods weren't intended as (even stated in the game) they expect you to break down armor or have friends or other players make armor for you to break down to get more xp out of them.
