Add-ons on the PS4?

TechnicalGeezer
Hi!

I was just wondering on how this is going to work if work at all. I've played ESO on the PC and obviously add-ons are quite a large area for players as it assists them doing all kind of stuff however, on the Playstation it is impossible to put on an add-on.

Are developers for these add-ons going to make a Playstation version and then Zenimax put it up on the Playstation store or even implement in into the game. Obviously the term and conditions on both are going to be very different and this actually happening is near impossible.

What do you reckon is going to happen?

i prefer only the skyshard addon honestly the merchant add on single handed ruined the economy it prevented shopping around and set a universal price range for everything making every item worthless eventually. tactical combat add on created severe elitist gameplay where if you were not doing the best dmg or healing they players wanted you booted from party. doing without some of the add ons gives players a bit of a freedom to explore and no be hard wired number wise on everything from stats to gold. though the skyshard add on atleast lets us get skill points.

Yes, I agree with this. I remember this on Wow... I got kicked for not doing enough healing even though I was only 100 points below the guy above me.

I don't think you will ever get add ons but I think it's more likely they will adapt popular features onto the game at some point like the mini map or the gathering map.
PC will be getting controller support after all this time so anything is possible.

Until Bethesda's press conference, I would have rated the odds of this somewhere between "impossible" and "super-unlikely." But if they can allow console users to do FULL ON MODS with Fallout 4, I guess it's certainly possible that much simpler add-ons could be added to ESO someday.
