4 Second Delay to go from Looting to Harvesting?

Did anyone else notice, since about the "Audio Patch", that there is a 4 to 5 second delay between looting a mob and being able to harvest a ground spawn (node)?
I never noticed any restriction in that before: Kill a mob that is sitting on a node, loot the mob, harvest the node, no delay. Now there is, at least for me, a rather annoying delay...

    It may be the game still thinks your in combat. If you have the game music turned up, do you hear the combat music for a time after the mob is dead?

    I have noticed a delay in post combat harvesting lately, but not all the time.

    I don't believe the music has much to do with it. For example, in Craglorn, when collecting surveys, I take the opportunity to stack up on a few Guts as well, by killing a bunch of critters. I usually just run around and zap the critters on the way to the nodes, often at a distance. When I get there, I can immediately either loot the critter or harvest the node. Both will be active. But when I loot the critter and then turn to the node, it is no longer active...until about 4 seconds later.

    I have been doing this for a while and never noticed any delay before. This is also happening in other zones, btw.

    I went back to test that and it may be something connected with the audio sample. The sample of the two Drum bangs at the end of each fight/encounter may be running longer than the sound itself, and may be blocking any non-combat interaction during those four seconds it is still "running" silently...

    Meaning, it is occupying my I/O path and stopping me from interacting with static/groundspawn elements... I can continue to attack other mobs immediately, just not interact with non-combatant elements. This is so for all static elements like books, backpacks, nodes, etc.

    I've found that killing critters leaves me in combat for about 5 seconds longer than a normal mob would do, and this prevents me from harvesting or using doors etc for that period of time. Pretty annoying. Possibly a long-term bug with the critters themselves? (No pun intended)

    I've noticed the same thing - I thought it was an AddOn problem with recognizing that I'd left "fighting".

    Strangely it only happens with gut harvesting. Kill a load of mobs and you can instantly take their skins or harvest a nearby node...

    I will test that detail as well... If it is just the Guts.

    Add:
    It is the same with other loot/drops from mobs. Not just guts. And it did start after the "Audio Patch".
