Level up the extraction, hireling and put 1 into the passive that reduces research time so you can research 2 a day, you don't need to make anything until vet level as you'll out lvl stuff too fast
PS4 EU DC
Current CP : 756+
I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.
Crafting passives from best to worst:
-craft working (needed to make gear to the appropriate level)
-extraction (increases chance to get good mats when decon items)
-expertise (reduce the cost of upgrade mats)
-hireling (get crafting mats for free) this often gives purple/gold upgrade mats.
-research (reduce the time to research traits) mainly useful for traits 4th and higher.
-keen eye (light up mats) I find tier 1 useful for alchemy but not so much for other crafts.
Which skills are the most helpful in progressing and making quality items?
lvl 10 player and lvl 6 blacksmith and lvl 5 clothier
There are two ways to look at this.
If your looking to level crafting and get the most out of the process, then you need the Extraction and Research Passives.
If your looking to make things, then you need the Temper Passives if your improving things.
You kind of need the Material Passives to match the materials you are working on. To some extent for decon, but it can also affect some of the drops you get depending on the Craft, and it for sure determines the level of the Crafting Writ that you get and the level of the materials you get from a Hireling.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
