Werewolf ruins my armor

I've asked around in my guild and with friends and no one else seems to have the same problem. Every time I transform into werewolf for an extended period of time, let's say thirty minutes, it completely ruins my armor. Such that I often end up having to stop midquest, and travel back to town for repairs. Does anyone else know of a problem like this? Or know of a solution? I'm not dying while in werewolf form. It seems to be on a timer: 5 minutes in werewolf form=10% disrepair, 30 minutes=complete disrepair. Playing on Xbox one, ebonheart pact, lvl 33 nightblade.

Armor degradation has little or nothing to do with the amount of damage you take. It is base on how much XP you gain. I've tested this many times. I start out with full armor, kill a ton of mobs instantly at range, never get hit once and take absolutely zero damage, and upon reaching 60k XP my armor condition is at zero.

hmm that's counter-intuitive but explains things
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Never knew that. Rather weird way of doing things. Out of curiosity does it happen with XP from all sources or just from killing mobs?

Alright, so it's not just something that's happening to me then. Thanks for the response. That's kind of a bummer, but at least now I understand what's happening.
