This is getting insane the lag spikes

Its getting to the point where I cant even play. Been kicked offline 12 times today. Died 3 times from it.
CS ticket tells me to make sure punkbuster isnt running....great I dont have punkbuster on my computer and the issues is still persisting

Am I the only person with this issue?

To those of you who bought ESO for the PvP, how are you liking those promised "massive thousand player battles" when the server craps out if a hundred players are even remotely in the same area...

Actually, I was on the NA server the 4th of July from 11pm to 1pm and we had about 50 v 50 it seemed at the Alessia Farm with minimal lag at all. It really goes to show you that this game is capable of that kind of battle. We also did have siege weapons out but not a lot of them.

What confuses me though, is how can we have 100(Yellow v Red) people in a pretty much lagless battle with constant AOE/Meteors, yet when 5 Yellow VS 5 Blue at a Gate can have so much lag that the effects of the spells aren't showing. My spear shard would toss up but no effects would display on the down impact of it. Seriously someone had to be using a lag exploit on that last night. There's no other explanation on it. The Campaign was just as populated as it was Saturday night.

I really wish @ZOS would run a check on Addons and auto disable any of them that send hundreds of keystrokes to the server per second. There's NO Addon in the game that would require that kind of keystroke usage.

I turned off ALL of my addon's to make sure they where not the issue.
STILL had the same problems.

Well I guess im done. Cant play the game 3 min without getting lagged out.

Zos tells me its my system/isp when other people in my guild are having the same issues.
Guess they are all sponging off my internet.

Isn't Pnkbstr (punkbuster) a program used by battlefield, no idea why that would interfere with ESO. I think it's used to detect 3rd party software and auto-ban you from EA/Origin servers or something.

Disabling Addons is ZOS key excuse to us. I had same problem in PvP but unfortunatly ZOS customer support is bad. They took several days to understand what is the problem, waste of days and people stop replying CS.
Recently they took whole one week to understand I am having FPS and Lag issue in PvP.

Same thing happens to me every now and then. It normally only lasts one day tho, so I'm taking the day off ESO. It's unplayable right now with those lag spikes. Thankfully this lag fest only happens two or three times a month.

Just since today it's been several times that after like 10 minutes of login in I get 14k+ ping then everything freeze except me and then it kicks me out of game. And I can guarantee that the problem is not on my internet connection.

It's been pretty bad over the holiday weekend at the times I play. I've been spending a little more time playing in PvP lately, and just recently jumped to Azura's Star (after Thornblade finished). On Thornblade, I never noticed many lag spikes (usually played around 90 to 140). But Azura's was regularly jumping to a latency of over 500. Half the time the game environment was completely unresponsive, and it would randomly catch back up. I don't remember what times exactly, but it was during a bigger battle around Bleakers between EP and DC.

Here are my addons.

• Advanced Filters
• Destinations
• Crafting Stations
• Lorebooks
• Lost Treasure
• SkyShards
• AwesomeGuildStore
• Master Merchant (LUA memory increased to 256MB for this)

OMG Im getting so irritated.

HOW can this lag be on MY system when 10 other people I know are having the exact same issue?

Bet if I was on a console Id be getting the issue looked into.

I've had this problem all day too. I PVE but can't take two steps in game without getting kicked. Its the worst when your in the middle of a fight, getting kicked then logging back in to a dead toon.

PVP is unplayable, Latency jumps up to +999 on Azura PVP instance. This is a constant issue happening every single day this week and last in North American Server even when the instance is not populated.

All you need to do is log your DEV character and experience it yourself.

Check ZONE chat for some colorful remarks from the playerbase regarding said issue.

Speedtest on my end = 132meg down - 15 meg up so it is not my ISP. Leaving the PVP instance to PVE world and do not experience these lag spikes.

I can't even believe pvp is open in this shape. It's completely unplayable all you can do is lag and get aggravated. And they know they absolutely have to. It's been mentioned about a thousand times on this forum

ZOS just doesnt care about the lag for PC people. Console is their baby now.

All this these replies telling me its my isp...well spanky if thats the case how come so many people besides me are experiencing the lag? Guess thats just my silly common sense.
