How many of you didn't do any side quests to max level?

Just out of curiosity- how many players grinded or PvPed or whatever to max level, only doing the necessary story quests (Main story + maybe fighters guild/mages guild/undaunted)?

Simple question, really.

I leveled my first VR14 by doing all quests and content, all of Cadwell's Silver and Gold, and Craglorn.

I wasn't about to go through all of that seven more times, so the rest of my vet toons I used grinding spots and skipped all quests. Much, much faster that way.

I levelled mostly doing quests. Although I also partake in group activities such as dungeons, and doing guild events (delves, skyshards hunts, pve) in Cyrodiil, so my xp is not ONLY questing.

Questing got my Sorcerer to 13.8, and will get my DK to VR14/15 and my Templar to VR16. My NB is done with content and he is VR12, has been since prior to 1.6, and probably will stay at VR12 for the foreseeable future.

I clear all zones completely. Quests, dungeons, skyshards. When I have to leave a quest behind because it's bugged, I come back after, because my maps need to be white.

But I've also done some PvP, a lot of guild activities and group dungeons/pledges. And Craglorn. When my main was V7, she went to Craglorn and pretty much never left until she was V14 and the Craglorn map was all white. Doing the quests there with friends is a lot of fun.

That said, I have not yet finished all the quests on any of my characters.

Questing and dungeons. But I'm utterly burned out on questing now, so my next two characters will reach level 50 solely through PvP. I don't know what I'll do with them after that, I'd gladly skip Cadwell's and just gather skyshards, but the third alliance is locked and besides, there's no other efficient way to level up. PvP again? Lots and lots of dungeons? Dunno.

I just hit the tilde and opened up the console and typed in ADD playerXP = 2,296,964, that got me to VR1 in under a second. But seriously, I leveled my main by doing everything I could find, but for my alts they are mostly grind and missions that give skill points.

When I started playing on the PTS prior to launch, I didn't care at all about leveling, making a good build or doing quests in any particular order. I played ESO the same way I played Skyrim and Bethesda single player games, just wandered the world and explored, did some quests here and there only if they seemed interesting for the character I was playing.

However, by the time early access rolled around, I was hooked on the PVP side of the game and just wanted to play in Cyrodiil without doing quests or PVE dungeons.

Leveled two characters in Wabbajack and Hopesfire from 10 to mid veteran ranks around launch, and it was extremely slow, took about 4 months. Then I went to Craglorn and grinded from VR5 to VR12 in a couple days.

After leveling a few new characters through grinding, I realized this is by far the most efficient way to level. Currently takes around 15 hours to go from 3 to VR1, and then another week or so to reach VR14.

My goal is to get the Tamriel Adventurer achievement...I think that is the one for doing quests.
So, I just do the number of quests needed in each area to get the local achievement towards it.
That levels me just fine.

VR1-14 all grinding because the idea of playing through the other alliances' zones does not interest me at all.

Skipping most side quests after 3rd toon.

Doing Dolmens , dungeons and bosses and I stick a while in specific dungeons that i really like.
Rest of my time I am roaming in Cyrodiil and try to avoid zerg with a small group.

I am doing everything - quests, outdoor bosses, public dungeons, group dungeons, etc. Then again this is the one character I care about maxxing out. If I were to level alts, I probably wouldn't do the same stuff again.

I level by questing main and side quests, killing all mobs during the quests, pvp and going after the Monster Hunter achievement which you have to grind a lot of mobs to get.
Also all delves, dolemens, world bosses.

Can't vote since I did all of the above. Leveled 3 tools doing all quests (one char per alliance) then I repurposed one of my storage mules as a dedicated PvP char and ignored all but the main quests.

yes this is what i did and leveled up y skills a lot i been off the game for at least 2 weeks now due to real world/life grown man problems and stuff which explains why im only level 33 and my friends are veteran rank 1 or 2

I don't have the patience for grinding and I don't understand PvP. IMO I think ZOS ruined a perfectly good idea in PvP.

I have mostly quested and so far I am VR9, almost VR10 in Cadwell's Gold. I have done some grinding but not for leveling reasons, I grinded to get the Master Monster Slayer achievement, and I have grinded a few Dwemer ruins for scraps.

Seems pretty easy to level, at least for me.
