I have been doing some skyshard hunting and some of the shards have not appeard in the spots they're supposed to be in. Does anyone know why this would happen? Or has anyone come across this problem and how did you fix the issue??

OzJohnD✭✭✭✭Early days Zenimax relocated a number of things, quest NPCs in particular ... they may well have done this with skyshards as well.
The older the guide/map the less reliable

They are where they should be. Either your map your using or the add-on your using is out of date.I have been doing some skyshard hunting and some of the shards have not appeard in the spots they're supposed to be in. Lots of skyshards within delves where moved when the delves were redone. What are you using for your location information?

dlepi24✭✭✭✭There have been "revamped" delves and a lot of older maps show them in different places if you're looking online. There aren't too many like that but there are a handful.0 -
Krossus✭✭✭Some may be underground. Try looking for dungeons or caves. I ran into this a couple times while questing normally. Sandshark95✭✭✭I've been using the following link to find all of my skyshards. Haven't had any trouble finding them in delves; as long as you explore every region you should just run into them on your way to/from the delve boss.

Use the drop-down menu to select a region and mark the general location on your map in-game. Light blue circle = in world, dark blue circle = in delve/cave. It also shows the clues for each shard, listed in the same order as in your skyshard achievements section of your journal so you can easily check if you've already gotten them or not.0
