Hi,

I'm on console version.

Level: 25
Race: High Elf
Class: DK
Att: 12 Magicka 10 Health 2 Stamina

Bar 1:

Skills: Cleave IV, Unstable Flame, Volatile Armour, Green Dragon Blood, Burning Talons, Standard of Might
Weapon: Steel Battle Axe of Flame, Level 22, 140 Flame Damage, Increase weapon attack speed by 6%

Bar 2:

Skills: Rapid Maneuver, Molten Weapons, Deep Slash, Burning Talons, Green Dragon Blood, Magma Armour
Weapon: Steel Sword of Flame, Level 25, 140 Flame Damage, Increase armor and spell penetration by 4%

Armour is mostly heavy and I also have no idea where to begin with enchantments and gaining armour etc...
I've also seen armour in SETS which give much more bonuses than normal, how would I go about obtaining these?
Does anyone have any advice for my build on how to improve it? I do both PVP/PVE so a build which is solid both would be great

    Hm.
Some quick suggestions although I am by no means the expert on DKs.

    1. You're still at a lower level and to be honest, at this point you should have at least one type of each armor (light, medium, heavy) on at all times so that you can level them up equally. This will give you more options at the veteran level/end game. This is especially good if you decide to go with the 5/1/1/ armor setup with the Undaunted Mettle passive.
    2. Decide on what role you want to specialize in. Some really good players can do all three (tank/dps/healer) but if this is your first character, I would suggest picking one role and going from there until you really learn the ins and outs of your class and abilities. You can always respec your skill points and craft/purchase armor later to suit your needs. That said...
    3. Figure out which build you want to concentrate on, a Stamina or a Magicka build. The race you chose is probably the best in terms of magicka but you're using two 2H weapons with some stamina abilities. Thats not necessarily a bad thing and you probably can survive at pre-veteran levels but once you complete the main questline and get to Cadwell's Silver and Gold, the difficulty will ramp up considerably. Hybrid builds can work but it takes an extremely experienced and knowledgeable player to make them work effectively. Pick stamina with magicka as support or vice versa. If I were to jump in and have your character right now, I probably would keep the sword and have a destruction staff (flame) as my primary weapon.
    4. Re: attributes, there are so many ways you could work it. I typically just put everything in health and then make up for the rest through enchantments (you can purchase or craft your own glyphs). Speaking of which...
    5. Get into crafting. I can't say that enough. You want to have some level of self-sufficiency. You also want opportunities to help friends/guildmates and/or make gold as well.
    6. Regarding special sets: you can either purchase them from guild stores/players, earn them as rewards completing dungeons/delves/pledges, or get them in PvP via rewards or purchasing from vendors.
    7. Keep in mind some skills are ones you want to have on your bars all the time and some will be situational (depending on whether you're grouped, solo, or in pvp).

    Good luck.
