    Yes because dragons.

Not to mention the simple joy of dropping buckets on shopkeepers' heads.

Throwing in my "yes" vote too! Skyrim is really fun game. Just some notes:
-Watch your character leveling as it's far too easy to OP by level 30.

-Dual wielding does not offer blocking as you must control both swings independently (and takes a much larger hit on Stamina).

-Leveling is, uh, well, different in Skyrim. The game will slide, and bosses can get extra tough once a slide happens (the first is level 10).

-When entering a ruin, cave, or Dwarven hold, it is set at the level you enter for the remainder of the game. This can get frustrating if you revisit and there's no challenge.

-Dragons. Dragons. Dragons. Oh, and if you acquire the latest DLC, you can even ride them (though only within a certain range of their roost, but it's still freaking cool!).

-None of your choices matter in this game, so if you're stuck on which side to take for the civil war, just bear in mind the only thing that happens is Jarls (in each of the holds) change, and that's it.

-Every character has the Healing spell.

-Mages are seriously underpowered in the game. If you go this route, be sure to have a backup weapon when your spells do nothing but fringe hair and tick off the enemy.

-Unlike TESO, horses in Skyrim can climb over mountains with ease. In addition, they also have stamina but once it runs out, your horse stops galloping. There is no stamina bar to show you when it's replenished, so you have to gauge when you can gallop again. There are two other horses in the game with better stamina builds, but I'll let you find them. Hint: They're named and you definitely want the best. ;)

-You can buy houses in Skyrim. With Hearthfire, you can add 3 more, customized to your preference. Just note, though, that the houses are still "canned", allowing only for a few rooms you can actually "build". Save every iron ore you find. You're going to need it.

-Dragons. Yes, I know, but seriously... Dragons. Worth it.

    Hope this helps. :)
