I declined the gift because I (i.e. rping/being my character) don't want my head mucked around with. I prefer to read and learn the natural way.

So you actually didn't do the Mages Guild Epilogue quest "The Arch-Mage's Boon"? Admittedly that quest literally has nothing else in it, but I couldn't personally leave a quest unfinished I also found the reward very useful for re-reading books that I'd read many zones previously and would never be able to find again.

Also, instead of using lots of white-space, you can hide spoilers using the
