What Happened To The Maintenance Info?

Usually during Monday Maintenance there's a banner across the top of the page here saying the servers are down while the maintenance is being performed and then when it's finished there's a banner that says it's done and the servers are up. Today.... no banner. I check the forums off and on throughout the day so I can find out when the game is back up so not having that banner is a drag. What gives ZoS?

Count me as one who would like to find out about server maintenance status in the forum banner vs news, twitter, facebook, etc.

I see that as well. Not what I was referring to though. I'm talking about the one that is up telling yu the servers are down while maintenance is being performed and then changes to tell you when it is done.

They use this format now - once it is finished they will probably add "COMPLETE" or "FINISHED" to the end of the line for the relevant server.

Since we now have multiple megaservers and platforms, we felt it would be easier and clearer to list out all maintenances for the week on a single banner. We do update it as each maintenance is complete, but we could also begin updating it when it's in progress as well if that would be clearer for everyone.

Thanks for the speedy answer! If there's still a banner that comes up announcing when the maintenance is done for each server and it stays up the rest of the day I don't see any real need for the "in progress" banner. I just wanna know when it's over!

As you already know, brace yourself for all of those who will then come to the forums to beat on ZOS for not using technology that's been around forever to clone the release environment and publish it to production in 15 minutes or less.

I notice the banner doesn't appear on the Dev Tracker page (it seems to appear almost everywhere else…). Since that's the page I have bookmarked currently, I'm wondering if it's possible to make it appear there as well…?
