I am lvl 32 and I really need to boost the damage of this character! I have tried many combos but I don't find them really useful. I have been using a bow and 2 handed lately and it is not the bad but idk why I want to be able do more damage with magic! I love both magic and the bow but the won't be possible! So I would like to know if anyone of you have a imperial sorcerer and how is your built ? I would appreciate the help thanks :)

You will want to wait, until you achieve Bound Aegis, Dark Deal and Critical Surge obviously. They will be adding a stamina version of lightning form as well with the next update.

I admit, I've never played a stamina Sorc in my 2 years and I wouldn't recommend, but I want to try it too.
Sorcerer profits a lot from critical surge combined with critical charge. It depends if you want to play pve or pvp. In PvE, I don't see a problem with playing a stamina Sorcerer.

I've met some good stamina sorcerers in PvE and PvP alike, but I think in PvE, for DPS, Sorcs benefit more from going all magicka.
    Unfortunate magicka warden main.

The main attraction of an Imperial Sorc, in my opinion, would be leveraging the high health and stamina to make a drink-based regen build. I would be sure to get the 15% Werewolf bonus, too.

You need to choose between magicka and stamina as your primary resource for damage-dealing abilities. If you're using 2H and Bow, you should be built for stamina and using stamina-based abilities for damage, as those scale up with max stamina and weapon damage. Your magicka spells won't do much damage.

You use the other resource for non-damaging spells, such as buffs, utility and crowd control. If you're playing an Imperial Sorc, your best damage abilities will be things like Critical Rush, Wrecking Blow and Snipe. You'll still use things like Bolt Escape, Lightning Form and the like, so magicka isn't useless.

I would suggest the exact opposite is true. Those high racial bonuses to health and stamina apply to the benefits of food. So, you'll get more out of food than other races. You still need recovery, but you can get that from gear and CP's.

I use food on my Breton Sorc because I can get plenty of magicka regen from various sources, but I've never been able to get enough stamina regen for a viable stamina build without going to drink, which gimps my Sorc in other ways. I've always thought that I might be able to pull off a drink build, though, if I had an Imperial and used the Twice-Born set to add both the health and stamina munduses (to make up for the lack of food).

well i dont know how to help you with a 2h/bow/magic build, my sorc does a TON of damage though as pure magic. crystal fragments morph is disgusting, esp when it procs 3x in a row haha. impulse from the destro staff tree is also amazing AOE damage. if you wanted to go for a more stereotypially magic-y build i would def vouch for this one (my hot bars are force shock to proc frags, crystal frags for single target, impulse for aoe, streak for mobility and gap closer to get in range to impulse, conjured ward for shielding myself, and then vampire's devouring swarm to get in close and nuke down mobs while they're stunned. it's been VERY effective. (like to the point where the game isn't even a challenge...and im wearing level 32 gear at veteran rank 1 haha)

i should mention im breton though, we have slightly different passives. im not sure how much it matters...its definitely a bit of a magicka-hungry build, since the whole point is to spam everything rapidly to proc frags and keep my health from decreasing (since i use mp pots, not hp pots)

So crystal shard can scales of Stamina, when your stamina pool is higher ? I know Overload does for sure

Crystal Fragments will only scale off magicka. Overload is different because it is an Ultimate. All Ultimates will scale off the higher of your resource pools.
