Why does PS4 with it's vastly better GFX card have the same/lower gfx than the Xbox One?

I mean what's the point in giving a PS4 a better gfx card if all it will be used for is exclusives? Unity was a disgrace with PS4 running at not only lower fps but 900p when it's proven that it could have handled 1080p at no loss. Is console parity starting to take the mic now and favor Xbox one?
Also Xbox one players will brag about their 100 mhz CPU overclock but from the graphs i've seen the PS4 CPU is more powerful?
