Would a hybrid nb work

Currently im a nb breton v4 on PS4, im playing a full magic build with my my main bar as strife, magelight, entropy, degenerate dot thing and spectral bow ( weave light attack's in). This seems fine but not as fun as i was hoping, so i was thinking would a half magic half stam produce decent damage - wrecking blow, reverse slash, rally , strife, degenerate in medium armour- a kind of a death knight build or would this be waste of gold seeing as i carnt see numbers.
Reason I don't want to full stam is that I enjoy the syphon tree alot and suits my game style.

If you split your points between 2 stats you're basically cutting the damage scaling from your stats in half. It's not a good idea.

Technically right now, the only viable hybrid is a tank build and even then you still have to focus abit on either the magicka or stamina side.

as long as stamina and magik increase dmg for wep atks and spell atks there will be no hybrids that can compete vs with full stamina or magik.

PvE, no to be competitive (unless tank). PvP, yes.

I tried it and it was extremely difficult.
(I tried going the hybrid route for my Templar as well and it was even worse)
The moment I decided to go full stamina on my NB I had amazing survivability.

Hybrids WERE possible before update 1.6. People ran them well, and in many cases, some setups were even better than full choice builds.

I'm running a kinda hybrid with my NB at the moment, by using magicka rings with spell cost reduction, and Seducer armor set, so I can cast Dark Cloak more often, in preparation for the next update which destroys dodge and block.

I have about 12K magicka and 18K stamina atm, (only VR10 still), 1900 stamina recovery and 1200 magicka recovery. It works quite nice so far, ofcourse my damage is less now, but I can cast Cloak quite often now which will replace dodge for staying alive. I only have 1700 weapon damage, but I get 20% extra weapon damage when attacking from cloak.

If you 1v1 a good player who goes pure stam and rolls your attacks he will face roll you as it sound like you depend on the cloak. I use piercing mark and magic night blades just die as its the crutch dont know about post patch tho allso people dont complain about rogue sgealth and counter with ditection will own hybrids

I don't plan on doing much 1v1, I'm not interested in that.
