When you reach 50 you get veteran rank 1? After that do you have to do another 50 to get veteran rank 2 and so on?

Allyhoo811✭✭✭No, after V1 you go straight to V2, then V3, V4, and so on...
The veteran levels do require that you get a lot more experience to level up than 1-50, so don't be concerned if leveling feels slower or more grindy
