Question about Item Sets

Dreadbayne
I'm looking at making both "Night's Silence" and Whitestrake's Retribution" item sets, and I was wondering, am I able to create them under light, medium, and heavy, or is it restricted to a certain type? I've seen this game be pretty open ended, but I thought i'd be sure before I go about gathering what I need to make it. Thanks in advance!

Wait for another answer to be sure but as far as I know every set crafting location has all three tables in it. Or just travel to the location in your Alliance and verify for yourself before you gather.

All set crafting stations have all three ww/bs/clothing stations in them. You must know a certain amount of traits to be able to use them though.

Yes you can craft any piece at the set stations. You do have to know the proper # of traits for each piece tho.
Night's Silence is a 2 trait set and Whitestrakes is a 4 trait set.
So for every piece you want to craft as Night's you will have to have researched 2 different traits on it (say Infused and Training) but for every piece of Whitestrakes you would have to have researched 4 (Infused, Training, Sturdy and Reinforced for example)

Here is a link that tells you where, how many traits and what the bonuses are on the crafted sets.

Remember when planning your sets, you are limited to 8 items with 2 Handed Weapons, Bows and Staffs, 9 items if you use One Handed/Shield or Dual Wield.

So, what I do is pick the set that gives my character the best 5 piece bonus for their build. Then I pick the set that gives a good 3 piece bonus and a good 4 piece bonus. For example, I use a set that gives a boost to Health with 4 pieces. So, when I swap to 1 H/S I gain extra health, which I need since that is up close and personal. I also put infused and a Health Glyph on my Shield, so coupled with the set bonus, I pick a nice chunk of extra health when I am using that gear. Of course you can combo this anyway you want.

Something to keep in mind when using two crafted sets.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
