[Suggestion] Dwemer Mechanical Horse

This title needs more Dwemer love, a mechanical horse could be alot of fun for the arts department to model and would look stunning. Something worth the premium currency as it's not a simple reskin of an existing model.

I could imagine charging into a battle riding a beast like this:



Who could say no to something as cool as that?

This is a good idea. There's nothing in the current lore about Dwemer mounts, but that's not to say that a Dwemer horse couldn't exist. Backstory example: A group of scholars/adventurers excavating a Dwemer ruin stumble upon something that looks like an underground stable, but are shocked to discover it full of mechanical horses.
It would be good as a limited mount

Mech Horse doesn't feel Dwemer to me. I feel they would have made something more unique as a mode of transportation if they created one. Look at those little robot things on balls. Even so a Dwemer mount doesn't quite sit right with me. It'd be like driving a car in ESO. Best stick to armors & pets for now imo.

I don't ever recall reading about the Dwemer making vehicles on which to ride.

Agreed. The dwemer spent almost all their time underground and they probably just used magic to get around over long distance or things like rail systems. A robo-horse may be a tad too silly.

OK, so you are telling me dwemer automatons (which already exist in the game) seems silly, but steam locomotives connecting their settlements in the old world seems OK? If you have played the other titles you would have seen how expansive their underworld is:




Their physique was not exactly suitable for cross country either.

Not automatons themselves, but a robotic/mecha horse specifically (which have never existed in any game) just seems silly. Rail systems seem much more plausible. The Dwemer have working elevators, giant super telescopes, lasers and they built a 100ft + tall optimus prime robot.

Now if they had a large dwmer spider as a mount, that would be fine. But no robo-horses. That would just look stupid (plus we have too many damn horse reskins anyways)

Not sure what you mean by this, Dwemer had the same physique/build as other elves say the dunmer. They weren't short and stubby like regular fantays dwarves.

Let's pray to Sotha Sil that if/when the Clockwork city comes out they will do a dwemer/mechanical horse. That would be awesome!
