pvp beginner

hello

i decided to try out pvp alliance war in AD alliance. to win a white dye + testing pvp. i m playing a lvl 16 imperial mage.
i did join the beginner alliance but ended up seeing only vetrans etc there. stopped when i ended up facing 5 vets from the other alliance when i reached one enemy tower.

any idea what i should do?

1. Check if you are on non vet campgain - there are no veteran rank players there.
2. Never walk alone
3. When in doubt run, run like horde of daedras is after you, dont stop after 10 m to look behind if you loose the enemy - you didnt.
4. Use resto staff skills (second one is all round usage) and rez your fellow players if you have gems.
5. Have gems


Thats about it since you are lvl 16.

Ps One more thing - you did tutorial and have rapid manouveres skill - use it for speed.

For your sake and your sanity, don't bother with Cyrodiil. It's the best advice I can give someone after 1 & half year of PVP

ou should on the screen on which you get into cyrodill - which campgain you are joining. Is it blackwater? if so good. If not, well Not so good but you have to start learning running with big fhishes anyway.

Ok here me out!

• Wear bathrobes, get a staff and spam Impulse. -Oops that is out of date, sorry my bad.
• Get some leather on you, use a bow and spam Snipe. -Welp ok that might still work but hey!
• Roll a stamina nightblade, dodge roll, dodge roll a lot. -Pfft that ***'s getting old.
• Dust off your nightblade, stack magicka, use bow and spam Impulse. -Now that's the spirit you need my friend!

On a more serious note, don't bother with pvp seriously as Mike said. Try to have fun in non-vet campaign until you reach veteran ranks. Then you either end up brainded grinding for 14(16) more veteran ranks or you just quit in the halfway. Ever if you manage to survive from all of these, then we can finally enlist you to teh Sorc QQ team along with DKs and fellow Templar brethrens while the master race Nightblades cloaking to the sun with many screaming souls trapped in their gems.

1) Don't scream about being 1 shot killed, it will happen.
2) When you die, press 'T' and see what did the most damage and make adjustments.
3) Don't stand still, don't stand in the red, use the terrain and walls to your advantage when possible.
4) Group often, find good leaders and follow their lead.
5) Run solo and find your own strengths and weakness.
6) Have fun, if you are not having fun, do something else. This is a game.
