Three massive single player campaigns, tons of challenging group dungeons, and holy cow PvP is a massive zone with its own quests, NPCs, dungeons and siege gaming.

All for 60 dollars?

Thank you zos!

Oh and I hear craglorn is in the box as well.

Me so happy.

I only just got to the massive PvP world, and yeah, its a great value.

Look at other games on the shelf.
I person prob would have paid 60 for the PvP alone.

    I am addicted to it.

    So much fun.

Wait till you get massive server lag in this massive pvp world, and then get ganked by skilled high cp player - over and over again. Fun!

I can't think of a game released in the last year that includes so much varied content and environments.

I have played on the veteran servers and yeah there's lag in the big battles with big groups and hundreds of vet rank aoe's going off but if you aren't in the eye of the storm is usually just fine.

Yea the cost of the original game and all the content you get with it is great!

Now buy this frost horse which costs half the cost of the original game heh.

$60 gets you all that content....

$30 gets you one single horse....
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

Hmmm. I hope the upcoming dlc is reasonable in terms of pricing.

I guess we will all see soon.

I have to agree with the TC. Even if I never do the MMO or PvP parts, it's a lot better than a lot of games I've spent more on.

Frankly, if PvP just involves other players killing me all the time, you can have it. I am, and never will be, an expert player and many of you are, so I'll just die a lot.

Yep! The game is an incredible experience for first timers... incredible graphics, awesome content variety and loads of places to exlore!

The problem - I've played the game since release and no content for 7 months

Its painful for old players, a good 80% of my friends have quit... But its nice to see some new players :)

I'm guessing you haven't logged 7K+ hours in ES previously over Oblivion and Skyrim. One thing I can say about ES in my case is that I do play it obsessively (I have over 5K in Skyrim alone).

I just want my add on's. Without those it will never be a game I fully enjoy. It's decent enough and my high character is only 38 but I need more to keep me much longer.

Sorry. I hope it comes for you.
Like I said, I've played Skyrim for many, many, many hours and would have continued to enjoy it just the way it was without the DLCs. They came out and then it was many, many, many, many more hours.
Something about the ES universe just keeps me coming back for more.
As I said elsewhere, since I doubt I'll ever do PvP or anything like that, addons just don't do it for me.

Fully agreed - for newcomers it's now a really BIG bang for the buck.
For the old guard who had to pay 60$ plus more than 150$ as subscription for the first a year... well... still worth it but not as good a deal as it is now.

Us console players seem to be getting a better experience. I played the Beta on PC, but never actually bought it.

Prob not. I suck too but if you group up you get to have a whole different type of fun. Don't try to solo PvP and you will actually love it. There's quests and dungeons there and you can sometimes just do that. Plus everything is free there. No stealing.

Yeah you can only do one thing for so long. But you have to admit its a bunch of ESO goodness for fresh players.
    Cheers.

I am really getting into the lore. I just did some quests in cheydanhalll and while I was creeping around trying to avoid blood skirmishers, I heard an NPC priestess chewing her follower out. I actually stopped to listen to the whole thing, deep in enemy territory.

    Lots of fun.
