Champion skill piercing

So I was looking at my champion skills I got points in and I notice mighty says it increases your physical damage and I thought that included weapon damage then I found out that it doesn't so made me think about piercing cause I like the idea of it but I have to know.

My question is. Does the Champion skill piercing effect both weapon damage and skill damage or just skill damage?

Mighty and Piercing will apply to skills which use stamina, and therefore are resisted by armor (as opposed to spell resist). That will include almost all non-staff weapon skills* and the stamina morphs for other skills.


*there are a couple of oddballs, such as the poison morphs for bow skills

Yep, as long as those weapons aren't staves.

@Snit So will it also effect my light and heavy attacks with weapons too?
