How to finish Mage Guild quest line

Ok so I'm stuck. The last Mage guild quest I have done is the one with the mad God and the play. And now I can't find the next quest. Does my Mage rank need to be higher? Is only lvl 4 and would completing the fighters guild mess everything up.

You have to go to the mage's guild in the next "country".

False ^. Your Mage guild rank needs to be level 5 then go to any Mages guild and you should be able to complete the quest line.

Really? Because I didn't hit rank 5 until I finished. So nice try. The same with fighter's guild. It'll have a quest marker but nothing to click on, until you go to the next zone in your alliance.
