Werewolf/Vampire moon does NOT matter

I just got bitten by a werewolf yesterday, im playing on console and was too exited so unfortunately i did not make a screenshot.
But it was half moon, meaning in between full moon and blood moon. It happened in bangkorai, which is enemy faction for me.

Pictures or it didn't happen lol jk. Seriously though, I've encountered bloodfiends and werewolves out of moon sync, let them beat on me for a while purposely and still I am not afflicted. Would love to be ww though...

There are sometimes bloodfiends coming out of thoose dark portals with lightning n such. But thoose do not count, only the rare spawns

I've been telling this a lot of time, but people just don't believe me when I say moon cycle doesn't matter for the random BF/WW spawns.

I blame client side weather definition. I have said from the moment I received my first vampire infection (a year ago) that moon phases don't mean anything.

Since the ambience like weather and even day/night cycle seems to be client side calculated and can be different even for me and my wife (playing grouped, on the same Internet connection, in the same region, on the same quest), I assume the same is valid for moon phases.

Yeah I got bit by bloodfiends on a full moon and everyone swears that only werewolfs spawn on full moon nights
