I've seen some mention that the tides in-game are effected by by the lunar cycle and that you can tell what stage the moon will be by looking at the water level on some steps in Riften Docks.
Is this true? I've looked at the steps in Riften (infact there are a few that don't seem to change so I'm probably in the wrong spot) and noticed no difference.
