blacksmithing deconstructing question

When I stole lots of calcinium weapons and armor I got lots of calcinium ingots from it, but now I can deconstruct galatite weapons and armor I now get hardly any ingot. like 1 ingot per 10 weapons ish. is this normal?

I believe, and I may not be entirely correct here, but it is a bit tied to your crafting level. For instance, if you have the passive up to the level where you can craft Calcinium, but not Galatite, then breaking down Galatite items will not yield as many materials.

Could this be leading to what you are seeing?

What level is your character? If the weapon is above your character level, your chances of getting the ingots back go down.

Plus, stolen weapons/armor shouldn't yield that many ingots anyway.

Hmm I dont think so. My crafting passive is 9/9 and I should be able to use upto Quicksilver. very strange

Im V4 but stolen weps gave me lots before when it was calcinium
