✭✭✭✭The Thief was trying to restore order in Craglorn as the Warrior and Mage were corrupted. The Mage in AA was corrupted as per their dialogue after defeating them. The Warrior was simply testing people that thought they could brave Hel Ra and gets admonished for it when he's defeated.
