Teleporting to another player

Hey Guys

quick question, maybe a stupid one but I've had conflicting information from a couple of people so want to confirm. I've yet to use this yet, so, can you teleport to a player that is in an area that you haven't been for example, I'm in Malabal Tor at the moment but never been to Reapers March yet. I'm looking at getting a vampire bite later but I'm aware I need to meet at the Vampire Ritual Shrine in Reapers march, so the question is, I haven't been there, could I teleport to the player who's going to bite me? or do I need to make my own way there?

cheers

You can teleport to a player in the starter zones that you haven't been to yet, and also Coldharbour. You cannot teleport to a player that is in a veteran zone unless you have at least beat the main storyline and have access to Cadwell's Silver.

That also applies to Cadwell's Gold. If you haven't completed the Silver then you cannot travel to a player in a Gold zone.

Lastly, you can also use the same method to travel to a player in Cyrodiil as the system stands currently. However, if the campaign is full you'll have to join the normal way.

In OP's case, yes you can use the "travel to player" function to teleport into an unknown zone. You will be ported to the wayshrine nearest to the player you have ported to, so you will still have to make your way to the shrine itself. I am not so familiar with the location of the shrine in Reaper's March, since I only play DC and EP characters, but that way is normally manageable even if very underleveled.

That's great thanks for the confirmation folks :)

@Leandor - That's fine by me, I've looked up the location, near Urchels Rest (or something named like that) I'm sure I can just follow the crown icon on the compass to get to the person I'm grouped with and finally get my vampirsm tonight! All prepared at the moment with 3/3 in my dark Elf racial trait for increased fire resistance too ^^
