Exact time to bid on Guild Trader?

I was reading a thread somewhere that people wait at 7:59 AM (EST) to bid on their guild trader...to not get outbid by someone in another guild that their creeping. (not sure people being allowed to be in 5 different guilds is a good thing) As they view Guild > History > Hire Guild Trader logs.
Is it still at 7:59EST that we have to get our bid in by...or earlier?

✭If you have the rights to bid on a trader, there is an easy way to find out. Go to a trader and select the bid option. In the following window (where you enter the amount of gold you want to bid) you'll see a countdown when the bidding ends.0
