pvp grind or pve grind?

im making a new character, my main is a vr8, and i was wondering if it would be faster to lvl it through cyrodiil dungeons or through my usual grind spots in the pve server... i know for VR lvls cyrodiil is much much faster

For a new character, PvE is the way to go. You don't have to do any of the quests or storylines if you don't want to. I just wanted a few more vet toons for various reasons, so I didn't bother with questing. I got a brand new, level 3 toon, to VR1 in less than 2 days grinding mobs.

how can i gear up tho? if were new, like 5k in bank

Give new toons starting gear that is purchased by, or made by, your primary toon. It's a new character, it doesn't even need set gear. If all you are doing is grinding mobs to reach veteran rank quickly, just use the weapon and armor drops that you get along the way.
