A DPS Build Question

I am making a Templar DPS build and look for some general pointers. So far I have:

An vampire Argonain (level 10). I am thinking going with Destro as the main weapon, but not sure what to use as her 2nd weapon. What type of skills and stats should I use? Also, I am going completely repec her -- everything -- stats, skills and CP. So she is an open book now. Thanks

i wouldnt bother respeccing till maybe veteran 1/level 50 as you'll just want anything that works for you while leveling

I mainly wondering what skills should that I should focus on to level them while I level my char's level. Also, what weapon(s) to level at the same time. This is my 7 the char. My other 6 are VR 4 or higher and I have 3 VR14's

Honestly, you can go from 1-50 just spamming Puncturing Sweep (Puncturing Strike morph). Other than that, just try out a bit of everything until VR ranks, and respec with the skills you are the most comfortable with. At VR14 you can worry about min/maxing.

Also, always have at least one armor of each tree on so they all level up, and always have at least one skill from each Templar skill tree on your bar to level those up as well. Nothing 1-50 is that challenging, so it's more important to have your skill trees maxed for when you are ready to get into a more serious build.
