class rescrictions

starscout07_ESO
so i can't stop but wondering, if we can pay money to redistribute our skill points, then why cant we spend money to switch classes, you know for the three class rescricted skill trees? why make people start all over other than to just make them waist time?

    It seems lore is as overused a word as immersion. If you insist on making this claim, please explain it.

    Well first off I'm not 100% serious.

    there are no dragonknights or Templars in lore.. blah blah blah. Classes weren't this restrictive in the other games, blah blah blah. Blahde blahde frikin blah.

    @Rosveen do you want me to write up another (several) page long essay? I could tell sorcs their class is based on a medium/heavily armored summoner hybrid again. They love that.

    It's pointless. I'm tired. If you want me to extrapolate I will. But as far as I'm concerned you are trying to bait me into an argument and I'm to drunk for that right now.

    No malicious intent, just bored, so I'm sitting on the forum. I wanted to know if you have a legitimate issue with skills in ESO or are just confusing gameplay with lore. I haven't read or don't remember your previous posts about it. But you're right, let's skip it, it's offtopic too.

    As for the original question, we have fixed classes to add replayability and versatility. In a classless system we'd have everyone running identical FOTM build.

    I'm on the forum for the same reason... Bored.

    People already run around with the same fotm build. All classes do is add a fake sense of difference. But whatever. Good night, I need sleep.

    what is actually worth replaying here with a new character? we log into this game everyday to grind to lvl 50. the quest dont leave too much to be desired, the swordplay feels a little clunky, and to be honest this game goes agianst every leveling system that any elder scrolls game had. now i know that it is an MMO, but people will come into this game expecting the same mechanics to apply, like gaining exp from blacksmithing will contribute to your overall level, which in ESO it does not.
