Deleting Characters. [answered]

I made an Orc Dragonknight for the Daggerfall Covenant. Not that anyone cares. I 'accidentally' hit a guard. So. A brand-new level 3 character with NO armour and a bounty he couldn't pay off...I couldn't make my self scarce like I would on my other accounts because that would require leaving civilization, and me dying. I deleted the account and replicated. Same looks, name, alliance -everything, but didn't get the bounty. Not that you care about that either. But when I was deleting it I saw it said I could delete 3 more characters (before I deleted the fail), is this permanent or is it on cool down to stop people making boosting or spam accounts?

I have deleted a lot of charators.
Yes there on a cool down.
I been deleting a charator probably once per day without any problems.
So yes it's on a cool down or timer.

no idea how long, but i have deleted toons in the past and still have 3 available deletes

It's not actually 3 a day. It's 3 total, and for every day that passes without deleting any characters you get 1 delete back. So if you delete 3 characters, then it will take 3 days to get back to being able to delete 3 more.
