Redguard DK - Stamina Based, is it good?

So, I'm rolling a DK Redguard, and considering I'm a redguard I'm going stamina build, is that decent?

I usually don't care what I play in ESO games, but this is a MMO, and eventually I might party with other players doing dungeons/pvp, and I'm expected to do decent damage, or tanking.

I tried to get into Restoration, but considering I get no race bonuses to Magicka, I don't think it's a good idea, but I can't be sure.

So, will this be a decent race/class combo? I don't wanna be useless in terms of damage or tanking.

I don't own Imperial Edition, thinking about getting it because of the Horse.

Red guards are great stam dks and decent tanks
