Help with sound glitch

I am having a problem with what I think is a sound glitch. Every so often while in this game I hear what sounds like a heavy exhale from someone and it is much louder than other game sounds or my friends talking. I hear this sound everywhere whether I'm in a party by myself or in game chat with no one, so I have determined that it can't be other players. I only hear the sound while playing this game, so it either must be a glitch in the game or something to do with my headphones. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated because this noise is really starting to freak me out.
