So I'm looking to be able to craft something similar to an Akaviri blade i.e. katana sword. Is there a motif that fits this description or am I SOL?

Please advise...

    No specific Akavari motif

See this for the styles that are in the game and you may find something close to what your looking for

There's no Akaviri motif, but there are certain drops that appear to be in an Akaviri style. So you can't craft it, but you might be able to find it.

Dang...I was hoping to be able to craft a katana or something similar. I'm running a nb and was planning on taking a skill or two from the 2H line. Unfortunately, a great sword just looks much too cumbersome for a fleet-footed, stealthy, rogue type character. I'd prefer something craftable just because I want those special perks from the hidden set bonuses.

Maybe check out the Redguard style greatsword. It looks less cumbersome to me, and you might find it seems somewhat fitting for a rogue. Still bulkier than a katana, but the curve and single edge somehow make it seem better for a swift, stealthy character to me.

While I do agree about the redguard style of blade, it's still not really what I'm looking for. It's better, just not what I like.
