Xbox N.A feature im looking for

I might have missed this feature also but im wondering if there is somehow a way to lock items. Specifically gear so that it cannot be accidentally deconstructed or destroyed?

I cannot tell you how man times if salvaged some good pieces

No option and likely not one coming, just need to take the couple extra seconds to very you don't kill off the items you want to keep.
