Heavy Attack Lock?

Is there a known issue with heavy attack locking. What I mean by this is I will let go of my right trigger and the animation will continue until its fully charged then fire. This makes spell weaving difficult at times and leaves you vulnerable. It doesn't happen every time but seems to happen mostly after exiting stealth on close targets.
