Connection issues

I'm still getting the message 'Unable to connect to their server. Check you have a valid internet connection'. My internet is on, I've reset it and have tested my connection on the Xbox but it won't let me load into Shadowfen in exactly the same place.

    Same here bud, I'm stuck in the shrine of the black maw in shadowfen and can't escape! Not even by fast traveling or using the exit.

    I travelled there manually and now I can't even load into the game as I get the 'this is an unusually long load time message' that takes the p*** displaying that every 5 seconds. I then cuts out saying the connection message, I thought the patch was meant to solve this!

    I have the exact same problem and am in the same place. Someone else who uses the same console can login on their other gamer profile on the same xbox so it's definitely linked to being in that location.

    It's not just shadow fen i load ok in to the rift but soon and I try to leave or go in to any type of loading screen I get kicked (unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection) I had no problems until last update

    Its affected to allot op people on european server but the support isnt answering/helping with tickets about the problem!

    think the people are also having bugs at the help/support center!!

    I've finally got back in, keep trying. Reset your internet too which is what I've done!! I think I should be the tech support I've got more about me than most of the tech team combined by the sounds of it!

    i already tried 20 times with restarting internet and xbox one still not working! contacted the support still waiting for an answer.

    Yeah I've already tried resetting my internet, disconnecting the xbox and reconnecting and nothing annoyingly. Just going to have to keep trying repeatedly and hopefully they address the problem/ answer soon!

    Hope you all get back online soon. I seriously think the tech team need to get their act together, the amount of money this game has made they should at least have the common curtesy to address our problems quickly and efficiently!

So that we can narrow down what may be causing the issue, can you let us know if you're able to access any of your characters (as in, can you access some characters, but not all)? Also, please let us know the country you're playing from and your ISP? Thanks!

    I can't even get to the character menu, I am in the UK playing on the Xbox One European server and my ISP is Talk Talk.

    I'm having the same issue, me and my friend both play ESO on Xbox one (on the European server) and last night we both disconnected at the same time and have been unable to log in since. We can get to the server choice menu but once we press play on the European server it loads for about 10 seconds and says "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." We can't even make it to the character selection screen. I've tested the internet connection and even watched twitch on the Xbox but it still says the same message. We both then tried logging onto a North American server and it allowed us to create a new character and complete the tutorial, but disconnected once we entered the main world. My friend has a brother sharing the same internet connection and he can log on to his characters but my friend can't.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    I'm also unable to connect to the server whilst in Shadowfen. I don't have other characters but I'm playing in the UK and my provider is Virgin Media

    Same here iam stuck in the loadingscreen to shadowfen with error "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection."
    Play on euro server its like 3 hours now.

    I can access any characters and play for like 10 min to an hour and get disconnected.
    I'm playing from the US and on the NA server and my ISP is xfinity

    This is a major issue that a lot of people are having and needs to be resolved. This problem is plaguing the Console Known Issues Thread (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/173858/) along side the The Prisoner of Jathsogur issue that I don't have the pleasure of knowing due to the fact that I can't stay logged in for 5 whole simple minutes.

    Constant login failed due to unexpected internal error. Worse now that maintenance has been done. EU Server on Xbox one. I've followed all of the automated advice. Incredibly frustrating.

    I am still getting the "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection" problem that I have had since launch. It happened whenever the game has to go through a loading screen. Can we please get this fixed; none of the patches or maintainances have helped.

    I am constantly getting disconnected and having to go through the login process. I can play but in a given session I will get disconnected every 5-10 mins. When are you going to get this addressed? I was hoping the patch today was going to fix it, but it doesn't sound like it. I am on Comcast in NA.

    I have been having this problem from the beginning.
    I can stream 24 straight hours of a car race and play destiny at the same time with no issues, but I can't play for more than 5 or 10 min at a time without getting kicked. For someone with a wife and a kid, time is very limited. NA Server with xfinity on Xbox One.
