Food advice...

I am new to the game and am building a character that is mainly a stamina build (abilities) with a little bit of magic and confused on whish is the best food to eat ...

1, Are 'flat boost' foods/drinks better than 'regen booster' foods?
2, as I mainly use Stamina, would foods that boost stamina and health be advisable? or as I put my points into stamina, would it be better to use a 'boost magika' food/beverage?

All advice hugely appreciated :-)

    It's hard to say whats better without knowing how you play. For group pve health + stamina food is usually the best for a stamina user, for pvp I prefer stamina + magicka drinks, but food can also be good there.

    Most stamina builds use stamina/magicka regen drinks, health regen is not useful.
    Stack weapon damage with set bonuses, warrior mundus stone and abilities to get your damage up.
    And use 3x stamina cost reduction enchants on your jewelry to improve your sustain.

    Well, i'm a Nightblade using all Stamina abilities except 'Shadow disguise' to get close to my target, and I have read that this ability uses up loads of magica...

    Maybe supplement magica with a potion?

    Or go 10 magica 20 health 30 stamina (although i'd hate to raise magica just for 1 skill on my entire bar)

    I'd say in general:

    use food for PvE where you have time to regen between fights, and fights will last a little longer.
    use drinks for PvP where fights are shorter and require more burst with fast regen for the next fight.

    Thanks for advice, so basically use Magica food regen to supplement my magica for 'Shadow Disguise' and keep rest for stamina.
