Woodworking.

Question: I've been wandering around throughout the course of the game (I'm not TERRIBLY far in, only like lvl 10) and I can't seem to find wood anywhere... Of any sort? I have the perk in which it makes it "easier" to find wood, but I've only found one log in hours of wandering... Thoughts?

Basically most of the logs in the game will be around trees and bushes around the world. Just like ores that spawn next to rocks and cliffs.

Yeah... I keep checking around tons of trees and I never see anything. Oh well!

As you go along in bigger areas more things spawn. I find that ores spawn more frequently in Eastmarch than other places for my Alliance. Discover bigger areas and that might solve your problem!

Also along the beaches like they've been washed up! I can normally find a few there pretty easily.

If you're AD, I found tons of wood in Grahtwood. Mostly oak, but a bit of beech as well. Even found 1 log of yew.

At the lower levels with all the new players, materials can be hard to come by. Keep looking while questing and save up your gold. You can always buy supplies you need from Guild Stores.

Also consider going back to the starter island and making the rounds of the coasts.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

If your trying to lvl your woodworking you need to deconstruct stuff research stuff to Not just make stuff. Really hard to lvl woodworking with making things same with other crafting to only exceptions are provisioning and alchemy. If your just needing wood to make your own thing when your out go the less traveled way i never use the roads ever.
