What Faction did you choose? Why?

I chose Ebonheart because I'm playing as a Dunmer and it's their home Faction. However, many people in my guild started a character in one faction only to drop that character and make another for Ebonheart because that is where our guild is based, or because their friends had chosen a different Faction. I've also made a second character in Daggerfall and after reaching Cyrodil with him I have noticed actual tension between factions, players that are a truly defensive about what is said about or done to their faction.

So I'm just curious, Why did you choose the faction you chose? Do you feel real loyalty to that faction?

Came here from LOTRO with several other players, we voted and chose AD for our faction based on our Beta play in all 3 starting areas and liking the aesthetics and quests of the faction better.

Speaking of Cyro specifically, yes there is definite tension between the alliances. It's real (as much as an online game gets, anyway)

5 vet characters, 2 lowbies and a mule...every one of them AD.

Alright. I'm going to assume that most of you have a MAIN character that you have leveled and use for PvP with friends. If/when you make another character in another faction will you use it for PvP or just questing to explore all the areas? I pretty much made my Daggerfall character because I wanted to check out every zone and faction. I plan on running through the quests in each faction but I doubt I'll put in as much time as I have with my Ebonheart character, I just want to see everything the game has to offer.

I chose Ebon Pact mainly because red and black is just such a great color scheme ( I also dye all my armor to represent, lame, I know).

You'll end up doing that anyway.
It's called Cadwell's Silver and Gold (vet levels)
Therefore (for me) no need to roll another alliance.

In the future i will Make a Orc and a Argonian.

My favorite faction is Daggerfall. They seem like the most level headed, well balanced faction lore wise.

The way I see it is your faction should be which ever location your character lives in. If America went to war with China tomorrow you wouldn't expect every Chinese American to join the Chinese Army simply because they happen to be the same race as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China.

Not that there is anything wrong with the way you play either. Just adding my two cents.

The Dominion, I always play khajiit.

I have khajiit characters in the pact and covenant add well, but my main faction is dominion.
