Armour/Weapon Traits ...
Can somebody give me a dumbed down explanation on how to research traits? Because I have like 23 trait gem things of various stuffs (technical terms) as well as numerous steel cuiriass' and despite this it wont let me research anything.

✭✭✭✭✭You need an actual item with the trait in it, the item will be destroyed in the process and you will be able to craft with that trait.PS4 EU DC

✭If your on PC get the Addon called ResearchBuddy2. This will highlight all of the items you can research so you can easily identify them.
If your on Console, the only thing you can do is view an item and see what's on it.
Armor items will say: Sturdy, Impenetrable, Reinforced, Training, Infused, Divines, Exploration, Well-Fitted or Nirnhoned.
Weapon Items will say Charged, Defending, Infused, Powered, Precise, Sharpened, Training, Weighted and Nirnhoned.
If any items you have contain any of those traits, you will be able to research them. Also keep in mind for Armor you will need that armor type as well. You can't research a Heavy Gauntlets with Reinforced for Light or Medium Armor Reinforced.NA Server - Kildair1 -
